Review version. Before launch, Faccini must confirm controller details, email and application retention, and supplier agreements. This page is not a compliance certification.
1. Cookies and other technologies
Cookies are small pieces of browser-stored data. This website mainly uses localStorage and sessionStorage, which are different technologies, to remember technical preferences. The application does not set advertising cookies, analytics or identifiers that track visits. The language is defined by the page path, /en for English.
2. Tools currently used
The table below lists storage introduced by the website. The slideshow, globe and 3D building work without profiling tools. Photos selected in the form remain in memory only: they are not cookies, are not stored in localStorage and are not uploaded automatically.
| Name and technology | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| theme / localStorage | Remembers your light or dark theme. It does not identify visitors. | Until you clear this website's browser data. |
| faccini-language-scroll / sessionStorage | Preserves the scroll position when switching between Italian and English. Stores the page path and scroll position. | Removed after the new language loads; at most until the tab is closed. |
| faccini-cookie-notice / localStorage | Remembers dismissal of the technical notice. Stores its version and expiry, not consent to profiling. | Valid for 180 days. The record remains in the browser until site data is cleared or it is replaced when the notice is dismissed again. |
3. Hosting and external services
Vercel delivers the website and handles requests and infrastructure security. Vercel Web Analytics, Speed Insights, advertising pixels, embedded videos, social widgets and third-party map embeds are not integrated. Any hosting security mechanisms depend on the service configuration and must be checked before launch.
Fonts, portfolio photos, the globe and 3D model are served by this website. Remaining stock photographs are retrieved server-side through Next.js. Following an external link takes you to another website, whose own notices apply.
4. The preferences notice
The notice is informational. Dismissing it does not authorise marketing or profiling and does not change active tools. Advertising consent is not requested for these technical functions. You can reopen the notice using Cookie preferences in the footer.
Any future optional tools must be documented and, where required, blocked until an explicit choice is made. This notice is not a consent management system for future trackers.
5. Managing or clearing preferences
You can clear this website's data or prevent storage in your browser settings. Clearing data may restore the initial theme and show the notice again. The website remains usable when storage is unavailable, but some preferences will not be remembered.
Reduced-motion preferences are read from the operating system through the browser and are not saved by the website. See the privacy notice for data processing information and your rights.
